It loads almost instantly for me (also using Reaper on Win7 64 bit). Clean, fresh install, Win7 64bits or Win10/64 bits first Reaper install. I love this VST but I have one BIG problem: it loads painfully slow, it takes about 2 minutes in Reaper. Other than being very limited i suppose it sounds ok and works fine.ĭude, this is no drum machine, please give manda credit that he was focusing on creating a perfect sounding drum kit only without programming parameter stuff.
If you want to use it to program your own drum tracks and really want a variety of different sounds then there doesn't seem to be much on offer here besides the basic kit sound. Only after formatting my PC there is little, I wanted to reinstall but when I open it on my software I receive the message 'make sure to copy the content file to the same as plusg-in file. This vst rivals many paid vsts - Superior drums Ez drummer Addictive etc, just depends on what sound you want for a particular mix. i feel stupid :)īest free Acoustic drum vst out there. Ok problem resolved in fact, there was no problem. i've tried 64bits and 32 bits version on win10, no succes both.

Hi, i use Ohm studio, and the drum kit does not appear in the vsti plugin list ( i've followed the install instructions). If you havent figured it out yet, you need to to copy both the dll and the pdk content file from the the zip folder and paste them directly into Reaper>Plugins>FX path folder. When I open the VST it says: there's a file missing, bla bla bla PDK. I have them together and I have tried to put them compressed in a zip format and reaper continues doing the same. Reaper doesn't recognize the PDK file, it recognizes only the dll one, so I can't use this VST. I've been using GrooveMonkee loops and other than having to move the odd midi element, it's all be plain sailing so far. Samples respond really well to other plugins and the built in mixer is simple and responsive.

Running 64 bit W10 and haven't had a Reaper project hang since I moved to a new build. Use it mainly when demoing songs/riffs in the metal genre.
